STRENGTH TRAINING COURSE
Learn how to seamlessly blend elements of vinyasa yoga with the science of strength training. This course explores breath-led cueing, intentional sequencing, alignment, grounding, and mind-to-muscle awareness, and shows how to integrate these principles into effective strength-based movement. Participants will gain a solid foundational understanding of strength training and how to apply its methods within a group fitness, yoga-first studio setting. You’ll deepen your understanding of how muscles work to stabilize, align, and move the body—building strength in a way that supports longevity, resilience, and intelligent yoga practice.

The Studio Strength Flow: Yoga + Group Fitness Instructor course is designed to appeal to both trained instructors, those interested in beginning a fitness instruction career and anyone who loves this dynamic format as is interested in expanding their knowledge of strength training. LEAH HEATH,
SENIOR Instructor
E-RYT 200, YACEP
As a Senior Instructor at Collective Studios, overseeing the Strength team, Leah draws on her 200 hour yoga and sculpt certifications to craft energizing and challenging sequences. Her classes and funky playlists are paced to take your mind off the clock and on your body and the in-studio experience. Throughout her yoga and fitness career, she's taught at a variety of studios and locations around Boston. Since moving to Haverhill, MA she has been expanding her teaching around the North Shore, Merrimack Valley and of course, Southern New Hampshire both personally and alongside Collective Studios.
As a Senior Instructor, Leah is responsible for not only helping to maintain the Collective Studio's instructing standards across her teams, but she also works on actively expanding the studio's fitness and wellness programs, coaching and developing other studio instructors and researching and building initiatives to ensure the studio stays at the forefront of the health and wellness industry,
She strives to be encouraging and cultivate a strong sense of team and community in every class while also achieving individual goals.
