Aaliyah Ortiz

INSTRUCTOR:
SCULPT

Aaliyah’s journey with movement began as a way to heal. Growing up, she faced years of insecurity that deeply impacted her relationship with her body and mental health. It wasn’t until she began her fitness journey in her early 20s that she discovered yoga, and everything it would teach her both on and off the mat.

Through strength training, yoga, and intentional movement, Aaliyah experienced a transformation not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. Her decision to pursue teacher training came during a deeply personal season of loss — an experience that profoundly shaped her understanding of the mind–body connection and the true gift of movement.

Today, Aaliyah teaches from a place of gratitude and empowerment. Outside of the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family, moving her body in different ways, and focusing on personal growth. She believes movement is a gift, not a punishment, and her goal is to remind every student that they move because they can and because they get to.
