KATHERINE ROJO
STUDIO COORDINATOR + INSTRUCTOR
CYCLE
Growing up Kat was a 3-sport athlete competing in Cross-country, Track and Field, and Lacrosse until she was 19 years old. She loved the way running made her feel after because no other form of exercise makes her as satisfied as running does. After graduating college, it was hard going to the gym by herself on a daily basis since she always loved being a part of a community and being able to motivate the people around her.
Traveling to many different states the past few years, Kat has made it her goal to start trying out new fitness studios and meeting amazing like-minded people. She has had the chance to experiment different instructors’ classes seeing the different and unique ways they have had an impact on her mentally, physically and emotionally. Kat tried her first beat based cycling class in San Diego, CA in the beginning of 2022 and fell in love. She loves that a bike that goes absolutely nowhere can make her feel so strong and confident after clipping off the bike.
This has brought Kat to her new home, The Collective Studios. First-time stepping foot in the studio she knew she was going to fit right in and immediately fell in love with the positive environment created in this space and the community who shows up on a daily basis to support and uplift each other.
When Kat’s not at the studio you can find her at the beach watching the sunrise/sunsets, going on hikes (anything outdoors really!) or trying out new coffee/smoothie shops all over the states!
