ABOUT LAGREE FITNESS

Lagree Fitness is a high-intensity, low-impact training method designed to strengthen, sculpt, and challenge the entire body using the Megaformer—a patented resistance-based machine. Unlike Pilates or traditional strength training, Lagree emphasizes slow, controlled movements under continuous tension, targeting muscular endurance, core stability, and total-body conditioning. The method is joint-safe and easily scalable, making it accessible to all fitness levels.

Developed by Sebastien Lagree, the method prioritizes form, alignment, and time under tension, delivering one of the most efficient and transformative workouts available. As an instructor, you’ll learn to teach with precision, motivate with intention, and guide clients through a purposeful and powerful experience.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

While many Lagree L1 certifications are limited to just a 16-hour course, Laura Collins has partnered with some of Lagree’s top professionals to offer an experience that goes far beyond the standard certification. Your tuition will include the below:

CURRICULUM

Our program will cover the following topics and so much more:

· The history and evolution of the Lagree Fitness Method
· The science behind the method
· Core principles that guide the method – the “Magic 10”
· Machine mechanics and essential safety protocols
· Foundational Lagree exercises, including progressions and modifications
· Applied Lagree anatomy
· Hands-on coaching techniques and effective verbal cueing
· Creating effective, balanced class sequences
· Teaching with clarity, confidence, and presence

MEGA MENTORSHIP

Upon completing the program, you’ll receive your official Lagree Level One Certification. Graduates of the 20-hour course who are interested in teaching at The Collective Studios will have the opportunity to audition for our exclusive Mega Mentorship Program—a continued journey of hands-on teaching practice, personalized mentorship, and the chance to earn a spot on our instructing team.

MEET YOUR FACULTY


 

LAURA COLLINS,

Lagree Master Trainer, Senior Instructor

Laura Collins is a seasoned movement professional with over a decade of experience in fitness, Lagree, and Pilates. Her journey began in 2012 teaching group fitness in Boston’s Back Bay after years of dancing for local sports teams. Eager to deepen her knowledge, she completed the Balanced Body Pilates education program and became a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) in 2017.

In 2018, Laura discovered the Lagree Method while teaching for a Lagree studio in Boston and quickly fell in love with its intensity and precision. She earned her Level 1 certification in Los Angeles in 2021, followed by Level 2 and advanced coursework in 2023. Her commitment to excellence earned her an invitation to become a Certified Lagree Master Trainer & Educator in 2025, allowing her to officially certify and lead workshops for Lagree Fitness.

As a founding instructor at The Collective Studios in New Hampshire, Laura serves as the senior instructor for all Lagree and Pilates formats. Known for her leadership and mentorship, she has guided both brand-new and experienced instructors, creating a strong, supportive community that she considers one of her proudest accomplishments.

In 2025, Laura also joined Lagreeing at Home as a live and on-demand instructor, sharing her passion for movement with a global audience.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is certified in Pre & Postnatal training, Pilates for Scoliosis, and Anatomy in 3D. She is a lifelong learner dedicated to elevating the standards of instruction and inspiring confidence in others.

Recognized for her impact, Laura was named Best Fitness Instructor in New Hampshire in both 2023 and 2025.
