INSTRUCTOR
Erin values holistic mind-body-spirit wellness and her passion project has always been helping others awaken the best version of themselves that resides within them to live their best life, that sometimes just needs some extra love and a guiding light to help manifest.
Erin has always viewed movement as medicine, dancing since the age of three. She dreamed of becoming a prima ballerina for the NYCB and was well on that track dancing pre professionally until she developed Anorexia as a teen that brought her dance career to a sudden halt. Following her recovery, Erin then made it her mission to give back to the field that literally saved her life and is now a Doctor and Licensed Psychologist. Erin largely attributes yoga and mindful movement to her recovery and mindfulness based practices are an integral part of her psychotherapy work as well, which have helped her clients expedite their healing too. To Erin it’s the gift that keeps on giving.
Erin is one of Collective Studios founding members and YTT inaugural graduates. Erin never planned to teach given her current full-time work as a Psychologist. However, her deep love for the Collective Community and passion to give back she knew she had to go for it, a mantra at Collective- pursue the people, places, and things that set your soul on fire. When offered an opportunity to join the Team it was met with a resounding yes! Yoga and Psychology are the perfect marriage for this Doctor by day and Collective gal by night who considers Collective Studios her therapy and third space.
Erin is an Ohio native and Londonderry, NH transplant after she fell in love with her husband and the East Coast where they now live with their two fur babies, Mollie and Millie.
Erin’s classes are for everybody and every body valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion and encouraging taking up space emotionally, physically, and psychologically. Erin’s classes feel like a warm hug in motion with beautiful sequencing. You can expect to feel equally grounded, safe, and supported with various options and modifications provided to meet you and your body where you are at that day. While also empowered to step out of your comfort zone and surpass your limits when a new or challenging pose is offered! Erin is a big believer in what the mind believes the body achieves. The hard work you accomplish on your mat will directly translate into your daily living- watch it transform your life, which is exactly what Collective did for Erin. You will leave feeling more deeply connected with your authentic self, others, and your Collective community.
