Collective Calm is a free mid-month meditation class. In hosting this class series, our goal is to give our community free access to tools and practices that can help you find peace and clarity in your everyday life.

ABOUT MEDITIATION:
Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness. In doing so, you can gain mental clarity, emotional calm and stability, in addition to a healthy sense of perspective on yourself and your thoughts. When meditating, the goal is not to turn off your thoughts or feelings, but rather to learn to observe them without judgement. Scientifically backed benefits of meditation include: stress reduction, increased self awareness, reduction of negative emotions, increased imagination and creativity, increased patience and tolerance, anxiety management, better focus and more.
