LAURA COLLINS
SENIOR INSTRUCTOR

After discovering group fitness while preparing for dance auditions, Laura began teaching in Boston’s back bay in 2012. Wanting to learn more, she started her official Pilates training with Balanced Body Education in 2015. She graduated in 2017 with her 450 hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification and became NPCP certified in 2018.

As a lifelong learner, Laura has completed many continuing education courses and certifications including Anatomy in 3D,  Pilates for Scoliosis, Pre and Postnatal Health and Exercise Specialist, Strategies for the Active Ager, and much more. She now teaches her own workshops including Music and Movement, Tower: Sequencing & Variations, Pre/Postnatal Exercise, and Anatomy Basics. In addition to Pilates, Laura is certified in Lagree Fitness and has been teaching Megaformer classes since 2018.

In Laura’s classes, you can expect an amazing workout, and also to learn about your body and the WHY behind each movement. Clients can show up exactly as they are and leave feeling confident, strong, and more connected to their bodies.

Outside of the studio, Laura loves spending all of her time with her two daughters and her husband.
