As a former athlete with a background in competitive swimming and dance, Carrie fell in love with yoga and cycle classes from an early age while exploring various methods of cross-training. After stepping away from swimming in college, group fitness classes became a constant in her life, carrying her through multiple cross-country moves for her corporate career as a graphic designer and marketer, and helped her navigate change throughout her twenties and early thirties. After relocating to New Hampshire in 2022, Carrie immediately knew she’d found a special community in The Collective Studios. 

Carrie has spent years studying and exploring the mind-body connection through holistic nutrition, nervous system regulation and mindfulness practices. After healing multiple chronic health conditions through movement and food medicine, Carrie decided it was time to share the wealth, leading her to complete The Collective Studios 200-Hour YTT and Reiki I programs, as well as completing a continuing education Yin Yoga certification in 2023. 

Carrie is a Hilton Head Island, SC native and New Hampshire transplant after relocating from Boston with her husband, Sumit, and their beloved senior rescue pup, Ace. Outside of her time at the studio (and regularly dancing on the bike to beat drops in CYCLE at TCS), you can find Carrie cooking up gluten and dairy-free recipes in her kitchen, experimenting with anything and everything wellness and biohacking, and spending as much time as possible outside on hot girl walks or exploring the Granite State with friends and family. 

Carrie’s classes are truly for everyone and focus on exploring the mind-body connection through physical and energetic release practices, in addition to her monthly community meditations. With a warm energy, welcoming atmosphere, emphasis on self-acceptance, and a ‘come-as-you-are’ mentality, Carrie strives to create an elevated experience for her students that leaves you feeling renewed, empowered and connected through mindful breathing and intentional movement.
