After over a decade of competitive horseback riding which led into collegiate equestrian, Julia graduated college looking for a new way to stay in shape. She went to her first yoga class reluctantly with a friend, not knowing how deeply it would change her life for the better. Julia fell in love with yoga as it helped her manage anxiety and connect deeper within herself. After many years of practice, Julia found an uplifting and supportive yoga community at The Collective Studios. This quickly inspired her to pursue yoga teacher training at The Collective in 2023.
Outside of the studio, Julia is a passionate kindergarten teacher who loves leaning into her creative side. She loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends. If she isn’t on her yoga mat, you can often find her outside exploring trails with her dog, crafting, or thrifting for interesting finds.
Julia’s classes are for everyone as she strives to be accommodating, welcoming, and inclusive. She creates a space that allows you to set the world aside so you can connect to your mind, body, and soul.
